Brief description
Large black and white photograph mounted on card, presumed to have been used by the Hertfordshire Express newspaper, of the crowning of Miss Letchworth during Letchworth's Jubillee in 1963. Shows a man crowning the Queen who is seated with two ladies (presumably runner's up) either side holding the numbers 11 and 4 on small cards. Another woman holds the cushion on which the crown was held. All takes place on a platform before a large backdrop of the Union flag. 1963.
